James Bowers, shop owner, ASE-Certified Mechanic, and Ford Senior Master Tech is prepared to diagnose, maintain, and repair your vehicle. James grew up on the west coast between California and Washington, frequently moving throughout his childhood. He knew his love for cars outweighed everything else when he graduated high school. He enrolled fresh from high school at UTI in Phoenix, Arizona, where he graduated with a degree in Applied Science in Automotive Technology.

He moved back to Oregon and spent ten years working for North Side Ford. He met his lovely wife, Veronica, settled down in her hometown of McMinnville, Oregon, and started a family. McMinnville was the first place that felt like home.

 Over the last ten years, James worked for some fantastic shops in and around McMinnville, where he gained knowledge of and experience with all types of vehicles. James's passion for cars and trucks has never waned, from managing fleets for companies to working with one of the leaders in diesel repair systems. Now with a son, daughter, two dogs, and a joyful life, he is excited to settle permanent roots in McMinnville with his first shop—Bowers Diesel & Auto Repair.
